Here's My situation, I have 3 computers connected to a router. They all run
on XP and use Internet Explorer 6. On one of my computers, I keep getting

When looking at anywebsite, and I click on a link that opens a new window or

When i try to access the internet from office through my laptop , it opens
any URL for 30 seconds and then locks...if you open another I.E windows and
type a URL it opens for 30 seconds annd then locks.

I screwed up and got the sober.s worm.  I was successful at deleting it, but
now IE gives me a "Cannot Find Server" message.  I can get online fine and
use Mozilla and Firefox ok, just not IE.

I have a non-networked PC (XP Sp 1) running an ASP app on IIS.  On that same
machine I run the browser to get to the app (localhost....).
On the browser, the autocomplete does not work.  I've gone into

I've seen plenty of info about configuring XP SP2 to use Google in the
search companion, but I would like to roll this out to all my users.

Every time I try and clear my history in IE6 and then re-open IE6 browser,
the history re-appears.  The only way I can clear the history is to
"manually" delete the items.  Is this a bug in IE6?  This didn't happen
previously, and I'm wondering if someone can help?

I'm running XPHome, SP2, and IE6.
When I do Tools\Internet options\Clear history, only the history in the
Address box (URL) clears.  The left side drop down list of sites that I've
visited is still there.
