When i try to access the internet from office through my laptop , it opens any URL for 30 seconds and then locks...if you open another I.E windows and type a URL it opens for 30 seconds annd then locks. When I connect the laptop directly to the router, it works fine

I screwed up and got the sober.s worm. I was successful at deleting it, but now IE gives me a "Cannot Find Server" message. I can get online fine and use Mozilla and Firefox ok, just not IE.

I've seen plenty of info about configuring XP SP2 to use Google in the search companion, but I would like to roll this out to all my users. Is there an ADM file with the appropriate settings for this in a Group Policy?

Every time I try and clear my history in IE6 and then re-open IE6 browser, the history re-appears. The only way I can clear the history is to "manually" delete the items. Is this a bug in IE6? This didn't happen previously, and I'm wondering if someone can help?

I'm running XPHome, SP2, and IE6. When I do Tools\Internet options\Clear history, only the history in the Address box (URL) clears. The left side drop down list of sites that I've visited is still there.
