I have been trying to download an activex control of a tool, which basically
depicts details in pictorial representation.
When I searched in the microsft support I did find some information at this

I can not add sites to the Internet or Trusted Sites
collection.  The SITES button is greyed out.  How to I fix
that?  Have turned off firewall and virus programs. no help

I am needing to know if anyone knows how to customize a favorites url so as
to be able to specify which browser the url it to opened with.
I know I've seen the url set up with the .exe in it to specify which browser
to use, I just can't seem to find any info on it on the web.

Every time I click on the down arrow to the Address bar to select a recent
URL, IE6 crashes. It just started doing this today. Yesterday it didn't have

I have identified a bug in IE 6 sp1 regarding Javascript prototype/array

The questions:

These documents open into an Explorer window, excel toolbars and menus are
not available.  I can save the document and reopen, but would much rather
have it open up in excel in the first place.  
Is there a setting in IE that would force word and excel documents to open
