I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED  A NEW COMPUTER WITH WINDOWS XP.  WHEN I RECEIVE
EMAILS WITH PICTURES, THE IMAGES ARE REPLACED WITH A RED X IN EACH BOX WHERE
PICTURE SHOULD APPEAR.  WHAT DOES THIS RED X MEAN?  DO I HAVE TO ACTIVATE A
CERTAIN PROGRAM SO THAT THIS IS CORRECTED? THANKS.
AddFavorite Method doesn't work like AddFavorite Dialog or CTRL-D handling Shortcut ICONs11 May 2005 13:40 GMT2
I would expect the AddFavorite Method to produce the same results as the
Favorites->Add to Favorites dialog does regarding the handling of shortcut
icons, i.e., following the <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON"
REF="http://somesite/somename.ico"> directive.  I tried to use this to

I'm using IE6 in XP-Pro and I have a problem with "Use smooth scrolling" in the
Advanced Options becoming unchecked after a reboot.
It works fine during any current session, even closing and reopening IE6.
But as soon as I reboot, it becomes unchecked again.

When I first boot up IE works fine, then after about 20 min or so, I get
"this page cannot be displayed" error messages on every page. I have to

I use Win98SE, am trying to upgrade to IE6SP1 from IE5.0.  My CD drive won't
recognize the IE upgrade CD.  I get an error msg about D:\ device not ready.  
But the drive works properly with other CDs.

I started IE and my font size has changed.  The font is so small it is hard
to read.  Does anybody know how the font size got changed by its self?  Does
anybody know how to fix the problem?
