My son has obviously accepted a download he shouldn't... When I open IE6 a
menu pops up at the bottom of the screen (content is link to different
web-sites in which we have no interest). Another problem is that a certain
pade opens while browsing, even if we have not asked for it ...

I get this error message every time I try to print out an e-mail or to print
a picture from a web site.  I'm using AOL but, so far, they have not been
able to help me!
The message says it's an Internet Explorer Script Error, "Library not

I am using Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2.  I was in Yahoo,
clicked on Shopping and tried to search.  As soon as I click search, I get
the message that Internet Explorer needs to close.  When I look at the error

I have read many different posts and tried many different fixes, from
reg fixes to programs but I am still missing most of my Internet
Option Tabs in fact the only two I can see is privacy and program tabs

Can someone shed light on how the Temporary Internet Files structure is in
Windows XP?  Why do I only have the Temporary Internet Files folder under
Local Settings of my profile?  Where did all the sub folders go that we used
to see in other versions of Windows?  I am using SP2 ...

Hi there - not sure I'm in exactly the right place - apologies if not.
I look after my village website and have done several large updates in the
last few days.  I use Frontpage 2000 and XP SP2.  Never had any significant
problems in the past 3 years.

How does one determine if a IE helper is legit or malware? Is it possible to
run: Microsoft Spyware Beta, Ad aware, spybot, spyblaster, Spyware Doctor,
Hosts files, all sorts of online scans repeatedly and still miss the malware

I have a problem with Internet Explorer. jpg and gif images are not clear.  
rather than a smooth image, they are blocky and pixelated.  If I view the
same pages through AOL the images are fine. and other more complex images are
clear, such as animations. Any ideas?

Whenever I create a new user in XP Pro I find the Favorite URL links in the
IE browser explorer mode loads quite quickly and everything is fine. However
