I have Windows XP Pro installed with SP2 also installed. I have a problem
with Internet Explorer that I hope you can help me with.
When I go to some pages the information bar pops up with a message like :-
"Your security settings do not allow Websites to use ActiveX controls

I just installed Service Pack 2 and when I try and view the LL Bean site
(www.llbean.com), I get a blank page.  On the status bar, it shows the
following message:
"Done but with errors on the page"

Hello, Trying to use "Allow" tools-internet options-privacy-sites-allow. Keep
being informed "you have entered an invalid domain", addresses are correct.
When I use "block" no problem. Privacy setting at medium. Internet Explorer 6
2900.2180 sp2.

This problem is the same as described by Siva on May 1 -- pages won't load.
I use win xp, sp2. Recently, I was persuaded to try Firefox and did find
that it was quicker in loading certain pages. However, soon after this, the

I can't get the Windows Update site to update Internet Explorer 6 SP1's
Critical Patch KB890923.  Every time I try, it offers me this critical patch,
downloads it, but the "installation" slows to a crawl and eventually "locks
up" my PC.  The Installation Bar Graph has gone right ...
