Logged in as the Administrator in XP Pro SP2, IE looks for the Favorites
under Documents and Settings for the user/Administrator as expected. This
used to be the same place (Documents and Settings for the user logged in) IE
looked for the Favorities when logged into the same PC ...

I am running XP Pro with three users set up.
I log in with Admin rights and everything works fine.  My wife logs in as a
Power user and can't use Google.  The Google search page will open and she
can type in a search phrase.  When she hits the search button, nothing

I just noticed that I have IE6sp1 version 6.0.2800.1106 and OE6 version
6.0.2800.1123. Why are there two versions from the same installation? Should
I be concerned for incompatibility reasons?

I often get an error report box down in my task bar when using ie6.  It looks
up the browser until I go to task manager and delete it.

Hi - I have AOL installed and using Internet Explorer 6 for web browsing on a

My Internet Explorer does not show a version when you click on
Help/About.... Is there a way to rebuild it? I have several other issues,
most likely related.  When I go to Add/REmove programs, the Control Panel
window is blank.

Hello, All!
IE stores frameset contents and tries to load into every frame the page
which was loaded there when favorite was stored.  How to disable it? I mean
in HTML/Asp.Net? Some special attribute for frameset??

In www.freewebs.com, I'm trying to access a chat room that I've already
accessed twice.  Now the chat room part of the screen is solid grey, and my
IE6 status bar has the message: load: class fwschat.FwsChat not found".
I've set this site as trusted and set security low.

I just installed windows XP professional 2002 service pack 2. and this prob
crops up. Whenever i came to a site where theres the letter 'T' in the
heading of the article, it wont show 'T' as in the word. the letter 'T' will
be a blotch instead. wats wrong with this? its annoying ...

  Hope this isn't OT.  I just can't remember the cause or the fix.  Hope
someone else does.
  When I use IE, I have the cookie control set to prompt me.  It's been
that way for several years, so I rarely get the promt anymore.  My list of
IE 6 using SP 2 won't start at all01 May 2005 15:19 GMT2
Whenever I try to open IE 6 on my computer, I get nothing.
It does not start at all, it used to sometimes but recently has stopped
opening all.
There arn't many more details I can provide... If anyone can help that would
