I'm hoping someone can help me. For some reason, on one of my PC's, some
pages don't display properly when I am viewing them. For example on one

Hi, i keep getting a microsoft pop up window when i initially start the pc,
telling me that a 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SHELL32.DLL'   has been allowed. i am

I'm having trouble opening pages innew windows, or opening pages that
automatically create a new window.  Whenever I open a page in a new window,
the Address bar is blank and nothing happens.  When I hit "Stop" or the
shortcut key for "Stop," the URL shows up in the address bar ...

Our application needs IE6 and a third party ActiveX control. We found that
when some PCs download the ActiveX control, it will be blocked and show a
dialog box "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls

In our application we have a link that opens a new window displaying the
contents of a page that can be customized by our end users.  When we call
window.open() we save the resulting window reference so that if users
navigate away from our application we can close the window.

For the past few weeks, I haven't been able to load www.doubledaybookclub.com .
IE only loads the banner to the website, and nothing else. I click on links
in the banner, and the same thing happens. I have tried a few things (looking
for the HOSTS file, running regsvr32 urlmon ...

We have a HTML&Javascript -based application running in the IE. To save space
on the screnn, we switched off the statusbar via Javascript.
This worked fine with all IE Versions up to 6.0.2800. With 6.0.2900 it does
not seem to work any more.

I can't run Java Aplets in my IE6 (Win XP, SP2).
How can I solve this problem?

I have a issue when using ie 6.0.2900 for windows xp media center 05 when
surfing in Yahoo.  It seems that graphics from this site are not loading on
my computer.  I get a red x in a box in place of Yahoo's logo at the top of
the page.  In addition, advertisments are not loading. ...

I am looking to disable the above menus from Internet Explorer much like the
NoHelpMenu registry poke in HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Restrictions to disable the Help menu. Can't find any articles on
