when clicking on an Internet URL sent via e-mail IE opens up but after a while a 'page not found error' is displayed. If you then click the 'GO' button the website is then contacted successfully

How can Unistall IE (i'm using Windows XP SP2)? I think this program is damaged: I cannot open IE anymore, I double click on IE icon, the program looks like is opening but the window disappears before displayng a web page.

When I have always clicked on Favorites to see my well-managed favorites, my entire tree of favorites appeared. All of a sudden, my first favorite, "Google" appears followed by a double-arrow drop-down that I have to click to see my favorites.

I am using IE 6 on a Windows 2000 machine. When I exit IE, the IEXPLORE process keeps running, preventing me from performing any other task. Typically, I have to use Task Manager to kill the process. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to correct this problem.

Since Monday, I have been unable to open multiple instances of IE. Whenever I attempt to open the browser, it simply overwrites the existing browser window. I did not make any changes over the weekend, so I don't know what's different, nor do I know where to look.

I close my browser and it looks like it shuts down however in the task manager it shows it still running. My problem is when I shut the computer down it tries to close iexplore and it has to have the end now button clicked before it will end. Very annoying.
