How can Unistall IE (i'm using Windows XP SP2)?
I think this program is damaged: I cannot open IE anymore, I double click on
IE icon, the program looks like is opening but the window disappears before
displayng a web page.

I gave my grandaughter a slightly used HP for her birthday (1.6 Pentium w/XP
Home Edition) and it didn't take long before she got herself into trouble!

Symptoms:

When I have always clicked on Favorites to see my well-managed favorites, my
entire tree of favorites appeared.  All of a sudden, my first favorite,
"Google" appears followed by a double-arrow drop-down that I have to click to
see my favorites.

I restarted my computer and some pages just started showing up in italics.
Other pages were normal. Nothing has changed, and i'm clueless as to why this
is happening. I checked all my settings, etc. No reason for this to be
happening. It even types italics in search bars on some ...

Can anyone tell me when the beta for IE7 will be released.  The only
information anyone has received is "Summer 2005".  Will it be July, August,

I am using IE 6 on a Windows 2000 machine.  When I exit IE, the IEXPLORE
process keeps running, preventing me from performing any other task.  
Typically, I have to use Task Manager to kill the process.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to correct this problem.

How can I control the order of the items in the
Favorites list?
For example, I want all folders together at the

When I open a IE page and try to access the address bar by clicking on its
dropdown button, the page will hang for a while and if I try to press
anything on the tool bar (ie Stop button), or try to close the window, i
will get a 'Not Responding' message. This problem only happens ...

Since Monday, I have been unable to open multiple instances of IE.  Whenever
I attempt to open the browser, it simply overwrites the existing browser
window. I did not make any changes over the weekend, so I don't know what's
different, nor do I know where to look.

There's a particular website that defaults in the Address bar whenever I type
the first letter of its address.  I've cleared history, deleted temp files &
cookies, searched and deleted any files with the address name in it.  I've
even searched the registry for entries with that ...

I close my browser and it looks like it shuts down however in the task
manager it shows it still running. My problem is when I shut the
computer down it tries to close iexplore and it has to have the end
now button clicked before it will end. Very annoying.

When viewing certain site I get:
The security certificate was issued by a company you have chosen not to trust.
How can I make the browser to accept that company and certificate?

WinME box had to be scraped down to the HD after an attempt to go wireless
failed utterly (Thanks, Linksys!). Perhaps some of those settings tweeks
scrambled things...and may have forced my hand into reinstalling (LOL).
