Buttons suddenly stopped working in IE.
This would be like the Delete button in Yahoo Mail. The regular hot links
work fine. The buttons appear to move but there doesn't seem to be any data

Everytime I double click on Internet Explorer, it tries to connect and after
it connects and trys to go to the default home page. I get an errror message
that
says an error as occured and Internet Explorer needs to be shut down.

I am running a Windows 98SE machine.  It has all the critical updates.  It
has IE6 sp1.  When I try to download any files it comes up with the run or

Internet Explorer 6, Service Pack 1 (Version: 6.0.2800.1106)
For several weeks now, every day when I start up Windows,
Update pipes up with:

On my Win XP SP2 system, all hyperlinks in the mail viewed in Outlook
Express 6 are non-functional, rolling mouse over the hyperlink shows
'about:blank'.
Kindly advise, how to fix this.

In the processes of de-spywaring my machine. I inadvertently must have
deleted IE6. There is no exe for internet explorer anymore.
But, when I download and attempt to install IE6 service pack1, it tells me
there is a newer version and it can't install.
