when I start my home PC, there is a warning message "there is a fatal error

I do the majority of web surfing on my laptop.  Most of the web pages don't
fill the entire screen.  Some do fill the screen, i.e., Yahoo.  When I do

I hope someone can help me, this is getting very frustrating!  I cannot turn

This problem just started.
Start IE6 as usual, but it takes anything up to 4 or 5 minutes to load any
web page and after loading th first "Start" page and moving to another web
page, it takes another 4 or 5 minutes to load that page.
