Crashing Regularly12 Jun 2005 06:20 GMT1
Our 98SE Athlon 1mghz 40GB drive / 512 Ram system works great.......except
that it freezes up rather regularly. Several times a day is not unusual. It
seems to be related to IE 6........running interactive programs, or Windows
Explorer, often when closing down Web-Sites and then ...
Restricing content using rating systems.12 Jun 2005 02:14 GMT2
To restrict all URL's except those that I approve, I applied the method in
MS KB article 267930.  This works well. However, often when a user navigates
to another page on an approved site, the content warning pops up that the
site has no rating. We can enter the password to add ...
IE 6.0 takes long time to start11 Jun 2005 22:24 GMT4
For a while now, I think since I installed SP2, my IE really takes long time
to start. The first time I try to start IE since I started the computer, it
takes around 20-25 seconds for the program to start. If I close that window
and immediately open another, it takes shorter time ...

I have a laptop that connects to the internet via lan or dial-up.
It all "works"; however, when I connect via the lan (successfully), IE 6

All of my accounts have "never dial a connection" checked, but that doesn't

IE 6 and Microsoft Passport/ MSN.com11 Jun 2005 18:07 GMT1
There is a curious thing happening as far as IE 6 and passport goes that I
hope someone could explain. When using IE 6 or a piggyback like Avant or
Maxthon, I have to sign into passport every time I go to MSN. com or Hotmail
or any other site requiring Passport. I have found ...

offline browsing problem11 Jun 2005 17:56 GMT10
For a number of years now I've been synchronizing web pages and
browsing them offline.  Now, for some reason, IE will no longer
display them.  They're on my drive, they're marked as being available
offline, and IE is in offline mode.  The links show up in my Favorites
Wrong Favorites folder.11 Jun 2005 16:35 GMT2
Something happened to my machine last week, which caused some programs not

I noticed that when I went to IE6 that it was loading slower than normal.
