I recently updated an older Dell with XP home edition(s.pack1). If I type in a site, www.anysite.com, it takes 1-2 minutes to find the site. If I type in http://www.anysite.com, it finds the site right away. I surfed Google groups and found references to registry entries that

When I click on a WAV file link, IE6 tells me that the file is corrupted and the defauult program (CoolEdit) can't open it. I know the files to be normal, correct files, and I can open them in CoolEdit after I save them to my HD. I cannot get IE6 to stop this behavior --

am wondering if anyone can help me regarding why my "view source" no longer works in IE 6.0 - perhaps it has to do with some security thing I have clicked on .....? Any ideas greatly appreciated

Weird problem. User is able to access secure websites (https:) but cannot access unsecured ones (http:). Have done everything to try to solve problem, including reinstalling IE disabling firewalls and anti-spyware tools, cleared the cache etc. Any ideas?

I can type in the address bar, but when I try to type in boxes on the internet page it does not allow my cursor to click in. I can mouse click on links, but not type in boxes. Example...try to type in a search in google...can not.

Hello, has anyone had problems with Internet Explorer where if you have one session open and want to open another, it re-uses the existing session instead of starting a new one? I checked the option under the "ADVANCED" tab called "Reuse shortcuts" but I get the same result.
