IE6 does not remember text size (View>Text Size>Small) any longer. That is
the way it is configured as the default in OE6 too.
It will always open up with Medium sized text.
How can I get the Text Size setting to be retained? This is a trivial issue

Having installed XP from scratch, I ran windows update. It
downloaded and installed a series of hotfixes, listed below. After
rebooting, web browsing through IE is showing some strange behaviour.
Many pages time out, including www.windowsupdate.com itself when it

As an example, at the NY Times web site, about 50% of the links are

I have some kind of virus or spyware that sends popups every 5-10 seconds
constantly.  I have run spybot, adaware, spyware beta, mcaffee and nothing
get rid of this.  I noticed that when they pop up a new IEXPLORER comes up in
the task manager.  will I have to reinstall IE or can ...

Pages load extremely slow in XP01 Jun 2005 22:18 GMT2
Lately my web pages load very very slow in IE with win XP.  I have all the
updates from microsoft and about 1-2 months ago this was not a problem.  But
now any website I try to open using the address bar will take at least 2
minutes to fully load and thats lucky, and I am using ...

problem:  When using IE 6.latest, surfing web, logging into websites --
occasionally a window may pop up then slowly fade away after about 3-5
seconds (even with the pop-up blocker turned off).  My question is "What is
doing that and how can i stop it FROM doing that?"

For the past few days I am having a constant problem with eBay UK - any page
that I go to is extremely slow to load - I have no problem at all with any
other websites.
I have checked thoroughly for spyware and have not made any recent changes
