I have a new Toshiba laptop, running Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.
Microsoft Firewall and Norton Antivirus are both enabled.
I've run Ad-aware, Spybot and Microsoft Update. All are up to date and the
computer is clean.

I'm using the AutoComplete funktion of the Internet Explorer. It almost
works fine, but whenever I enter a password, a dialogbox opens and
asks, if I really want to save the password. As I'm using the computer

Hello, my sister's IE6 has had a couple of problems I was hoping I could get
help with.  The home page is set as "about: blank"; whenever she tries to
change it, it reverts back to that page.  In addition, a couple of (shall we
say, undesirable) websites show up in her favorites ...

I am using Win XP SP2.  Lately when I try to go to a link from my
e-mail program (Eudora) or even here on this newsgroup when I click an
unerlined link it won't open IE.
I had no problems before.  When I use IE 6 I am able to click on the

for several weeks I have tried to correct this problem by uninstalling,
redownoading etc..
Nothing works.
At power up, I get an advisory that my Operating System (assume Win XP) and

For the third day I keep getting (on two PCs) :
"Service Unavailable - DNS Failure - Try again later"
(Trying to sign in to read e-mails)
Anyone else experiencing the same errors ? Or is it just me :-)

This is new to me. All of a sudden, IE won't open a new window, even if you
want it to. That is, I right click on a link and choose "Open in New Window",
yet IE just gives me the link in the window I'm browsing. Even if I Cntl-N,

Earlier today I installed WhatEverItWas that Windows Update wanted installed
(WinPro 2K). IE 6 now seems to be basically broken. I haven't found any
complex webpage that renders properly (the MS support webpages are pretty
useless when viewed with IE).
