I'm sure someone has already asked this, but I can't seem to find a post  
with the same concern.
Whenever I try to open a second IE window, the first window closes, then the
second window opens.  Thinking this was caused by me having Pop-up Blocker

I have read numerous posts on this, but still have not found a
solution.  I normally use Firefox, but sometimes need IE for Flash
files.  When i go to the macromedia Flash player download site I get
the same red X encased within a box that other users have seen and see

can't login to Hotmail mailbox. other passport pages work like stock
portfolio, and this page, but cannot login to read mail since 7/21.  tried
cookies, security settings, clear hist, etc.  HELP!!

We are using IE6 on Win98.   It began not showing images on web pages, like
Go ogle's
logo.  If you open Windows explorer and type in the address, it shows up.
Why is this?  We ran anti-virus, adware eliminator, checked the 'show

After all these years (& an old HP printer)...my frickin' web pages still
cut off on the right (the other day...I  even went to "Print Preview" for
the heck of it...& it actually shows the pages with the print cut off at the

I'm having problems with my page automatically scrolling back up to its
original presentation.  It seems to happen when I move the mouse.  This makes
it difficult to see what's at the bottom of the page.  It does the same thing
in Windows Explorer.  Any suggestions on how to ...

Under Internet Options/Connections, my Dial-up setting keeps changing from
"Never dial a connection" to "dial whenever a netwrok connection is not
present". Despite repeated resetting and applying the settings, this keeps
happening. What is wrong?

WMV links used to open in Windows Media Player when I would click a link to
one in internet explorer. Now whenever I click on a link to a .wmv movie
file in IE, I get an error message:
"The page cannot be displayed

I have problem with " Open in new window".
No problem with opening the first instance of IE browser.
But, if I click IE icon to get the second browser open, the first one would
be closed. and I can only get one open.

below 20,000 files (# of files, not size) -- they start to unload and go back

I use a default "home page" which is stored on my E: drive. It includes
some active content that I wish to have available ALL of the time,
mostly mouseovers. It works fine with my default browser, which is not
IE. On the few occasions when I must use IE6, I get the following
