I am running XP2. When I try to open an Activex controlled site it flashes up
and then closes. I have my setting a the defualt level. Also when I go to a
new site with ActiveX control the control line in IE6 does not come up and
flag it.

I would like help troubleshooting the problem I have with Flash. It used to
work well before the XP SP2 DL I did. When I go to a website e.g. ( MTV.com
or Chevrolet.com/ SS trailblazer ) I cannot view them please help me. The mtv
site will same "Done with errors" in the taskbar ...

I have a web site that uses XHTML 1.0 (Strict) and CSS. I have a Doctype at
the beginning of the page that says the page is XHTML 1.0 strict.
The XHTML page and CSS file pass the verification tests as valid XHTML and
CSS (there are no errors).

For some reason I can't download ANYTHING using IE6. When I click on a
typical download link, I get the "file download" box that pops up. And it
looks to be validating the file name and site path. Normally another window
would pop-up asking me where do I want to save the file on ...

Is there way to remove the popup blocker that is installed on IE 6.0 with
Windows XP service pack 2.  I have turned it off but it's still not doing
what I want it to do.  Is there a way to remove it?

Error: Current security settings prohibit running activex controls on this
page. My original desktop will not restore; security levels in Internet

I recently remove and old ISP program from computer and all of sudden i lost
my IE and everytime i go and try to open it up, the page comes up page could
not be displayed. Also says at top of page can not find server.  And at the

After upgrade my browser to ie6 SP1 (window 98 SE) through "Window Upgrdes"
