I recently removed/repaired a virus/trojan (or so I thought).  I currently am
not able to use Internet Explorer for online access (this page cannot be
displayed pops up), however I can use Netscape and access Outlook Express

I ran an online virus check from Trend Micro (took about an hour) after
rebooting I could no lon ger get into IE.  I truly have NO mal-spy-adware, no
viruses (I am using norton, mcafee and penquin).  The following message

very slow, 20 seconds to open a page compared to 1 sec. on other users pcs,

Running windows XP SP1 only as I am concerned about installing SP2.
I've run ad-aware and spybot but can not seem to get rid of some ad windows
that pop open.  This one has me stumped.

Quite often I get a red x and a blank where the picture should be when I'm
online, but seldom have any problems with attached email pictures.  How can

Back in earlier versions of IE I was able to bookmark two different
pages with yahoo emoticons... now, I can NOT (pages have different URLs)

IE keeps saying I haven't got a connection do I want to try again when in
