Running Win XP Home SP2. IE6 will not allow connection to any web sites that require activex. In the IE6 tools, options the temp internet folder location is blank and disk space is set at 0MB (cannot change). Security levels are "missing" and cannot adjust??

Up until a few days ago I could click on any XML file wherever it was located and it'd automatically load into IE6 SP2 within XP Pro SP2. Today, I clicked on the XML file and got an error "Windows cannot find 'C:\MyFile.xml'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try

I just tried installing a new HP flatbed scanner to my 98 SE based P-3 system and received the comment that I needed as a minimum a later copy of IE 5, or better yet, IE 6.0.0.0! Will IE 6 work with 98SE and where can I find a copy of the later IE 5???

Anybody ever encounter this before? The links on web pages are present, but not visible. You can click on them, when you move the mouse over them, so they are present, but you can't see them.

For the last 6 months or so I have been unable to close IE with the close button most of the time. I have to use the "end task" option. I have reinstalled and have installed all the service packs. Nothing helps. Trying not to go to another browers but it is a problem. Advice ...

I'm running IE6 SP2 on WinXP Pro SP2. When I minimize more than 2 IE windows they get consolidated into a "Multi-Button" on the status bar with the number of minimized windows listed on the button. Neat Feature!

I can't see some activex in a page of my own due to high level of settings on security. Seems like ie is blocking that activex, which is ok in general but I can't see even on my own page.

Have you ever wished to zoom pages in IE? So did I for years and eventually found out that IE actually has that feature built in since 2000. Fascinating! I read about it on Tony's weblog and added access to that feature in Quero Toolbar, which is now available for download:
