Why on certain web sites do I get lots of squares with a "X" at the top left
corner of each?  And, second, if I get an ActiveX bar at the top of the
screen that doesn't permit me to open a particular item, how can I
circumnavigate the block?

"Always ask before opening this type of file" check box in the file download
dialog box does not retain the unchecked setting.............
It would be nice if I could see it before the file downloads.

I have several files in my site whose extension is PKG. They are
zip-compressed files that are used by an application of mine. When my users

This just happened recently...but right-clicking (where it always used to

Going to TOOLS> INTERNET OPTIONS> ADVANCE Tab, I am unable to change the
settings.  The "Restore Default" button is grayed out as well.  What's

At times while surfing sites, I get bumped of IE and have to log in again.  
Closing internal windows, or even clicking the back button does it.  Has
anyone encountered this before.  All scans show normal.  System restore
indicates no changes.
