IE6 Strange Behavior07 Jul 2005 14:35 GMT1
I don't know how common this problem is as it only affects 1 computer and not
another nearly identical system.  Running IE 6.0 SP2 OEM w/ MS AntiSpyware.
May be caused by earlier spyware attacks and damaged while removing spyware.

Hi, hope someone can help.
As part of my work, I upload documents to a website which has an 'activex
uploader' drag and drop function on a particular webpage which is reached
from a homepage.
Scrolling Left to Right07 Jul 2005 13:33 GMT3
Is there a way to change the width of some web pages so I don't have to
scroll from left to right.  I only occasionally run into this problem but it
is annoying when lines of text run off the right side of the screen and you
have to scroll to read it.

z-index Not Working07 Jul 2005 10:04 GMT5
Does anyone else have problems with z-index in explorer? I use a div box for
various popup things like calendars and so forth but whenever I make one
visible on top of (supposedly) a dropdown(select element) the dropdown is in
front. I've tried setting the z-index of the select ...

IE6 Favorites, Most recent07 Jul 2005 03:38 GMT1
Due to a repair of IE6, the feature that only popups the most recent site
accessed under favorites has disappeared.
I remember that there is a registry entry that control this - but I have
forgotten where it was or the technical name for this behavior.

instant it was done.
web browsing lockdown07 Jul 2005 02:35 GMT2
I'm looking for a way to control web sites that some users can browse to.
In a perfect world, I'd have a security group to define who the policy would
apply to and then these users would be limited to internal web sites only
(192.168.*.* IP addresses, for example).
mass change for homepages07 Jul 2005 02:25 GMT1
we have a new manager who wants us to change the homepage of all of our local
browsers to our internal website.  For all new users this will not be a
problem because we can update our default profile, but for current users 200+
this could be a time consuming nightmare.

Pop-ups caused by 'browser aid'07 Jul 2005 01:32 GMT3
I continue to get pop-ups caused by this 'browser-aid' spyware. I use
Ad-aware & McAfee, both find and delete it, but it appears to remanifest
itself when IE is reopened. I have followed instructions for registry
removal, etc. as described by McAfee, but it keeps returning. Any ...
Open web page on startup07 Jul 2005 01:15 GMT1
I'm not exactly sure where to post this message, so I'll start here. I have
a kiosk-type setup, with an XP machine that connects to the network via
802.11. On Startup, it runs an IE session in kiosk mode. The trouble is that
IE loads before the 802.11 connection is completed. ...
