I am unable to access virtually all internet sites through IE since I signed
up with AOL.
I can access my home page (google) through IE but when I try to search
anything or put a different web address in, the progress bar reaches about

Im unable to access help from web-based chat clients, including
overstock.com, Dell, and my webmail account.  Additionally, only my computers
with Service Pack 2 installed have this issue.
Any ideas?

Since a week all my pictures and graphics appears blurred or fuzzy in the
internet explorer. I googled a lot to solve this behaviour but nothing of
all this tipps really worked.
I'm using a Dell Latitude Notebook with 1680x1050 Resolution.

When I use the search feature available on Internet Explorer 6 (click search

I have both MSIE 6 and Mozilla Forefox as my browsers. The ads don't get
displayed from remote sites in the WWW pages I visit.
I ran an updated Spybot 1.4 and generally am clean. I don't have any sort
of spyware or malware, nor any cookies, or sites blocked with the load

I forgot the password i used and want to turn it off - tried uninstalling IE
through control panel and reinstalling, but when reinstalled, password still

visit particular sites which would remember my User Name and Passwork but now

On the right click menu I used to have a Dictionary entry allowing me to
lookup a word in a Dictionary. For some reason it disappeared and I don't
know how to get it back.

How do we delete the pop ups that are blocked using the Google toolbar in
IE6? My toolbar is stating that 400 pop ups were blocked. I'm assuming these

Something must have changed recently, but I don't remember changing anything
that would have caused this problem.
When I click on ANY pdf link at ANY website, IE gives me a blank page with
an error window that says it can't find Adobe Acrobat. I can download the

IF IE 6.0 sits inactive for more than about 10 minutes, it drops the internet
connection. If I open a new window it says the page cannot be displayed. The
only thing that works is rebooting my computer. I use DSL, and my modem shows
a connection. Any ideas would be great.

There is a html-based configuration UI on our VoIP box I need to get
access to. It point blank refuses to work in Firefox, so I'm forced to
use IE. But it's structured with a main menu page, and then uses
Window.Open to open pages when you click on links.

ie version 6.0.2600.0000, cipher strength 128-bit
this problem began recently. previously it used to work fine.

names are too long, my CD writer will always inform me that they are an
illegal name
