Hi. I had some spyware on my PC a few months ago, the kind that hijacks your
browser. I managed to get rid of spyware but IE6 still would not work, i.e.,
I get a page that says the page cannot be displayed, and the server for IE6
can't be found. I was going to try reloading IE6 ...

I use Http://www.google.com.au as my home page.  I recently had some trouble
with a bad file i downloaded, and whilst i have fixed all other issues and
now have no viruses or adware, google does not work the same any more.  When
i open the internet explorer google shows up but ...

IE6 tool bar  "Edit" button is grayed out.
Please help me to bring it back to life.

When I receive an email that includes pictures, I all I get is  boxes with a
small box in the upper left side inclosing a red, a green and a blue box.  Is

In my home computer, when I had only three browser windows(IE) opened I saw
one window which was minimized, not responding while trying to close it. I

Occasionally, when I am surfing the web, Internet Explorer (version
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) SP2 will seem to lock up (even when
loading a relatively simple website).  The problem seemd to start happening
after I ran Microsoft Anti-Spyware earlier in the year ...

I want to go back to using IE from Firefox, some things didn’t make me
very happy. Anyway, I loved the RSS and Tabbed Browsing ability
firefox has. Is this possible or something close with IE6?

not sure if this is much of a problem but everytime i open certain web sites
part of the wep page shows this page cannot be diplayed  i believe this may
be advertising but not sure if this is worth fixing any help would be
appreciated thanks.

After running various spyware programs on a friends pc, we came across a
number of issues on start up (files missing). Having disabled these from
starting, we no longer have this issue.  
We did have an issue also where chkdsk deleted some files, which we thought

 Everytime i go to open up internet explorer, it begins to load my homepage
and then just closes and disappears.  how do i fix this problem?

I have been running IE for months without problems and it just suddenly
stopped running. I have Norton Anti-Virus and I have had some problems with
this recently.
I am using a Samsung pc and I cannot get out of hours or e-mail support.
