    I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me how to remove an
ActiveX from the registry so that it doesn't re-add itself back in the next
time I reboot.  The ActiveX, itself, is no longer in the Downloaded Program
Files, but the entry in the registry still exists and ...

I would like to disable the drop down box on the address bar.  Another words,
I do not want IE keeping track of visited websites EVER.  Not for one day or
one minute.  Is this possible?
Example:  Type www.google.ca into the address bar.  Close IE.  When open IE

I had to restart my machine.  After my machine was back up & running the text
size for all my other programs was at normal size.  But when I opened IE text
size was HUGE.  How do I change the text size so it's back to the default
size?  Thanks

I have run into four different cases recently when downloading large files (100-200 MB) that IE 6 will report "Download Complete" when in fact the file has been only partially downloaded.  I cannot find an issue in the knowledge base that resembles the problem.  Has anyone else ...

About once a week, IE will stop responding after opening 1 page. I will be
able to open my home page then I get to click on 1 link before it stops
responding. Deleting my NTUser.dat file fixes the issue but I then need to

Ill be browsing a webpage, any webpage, and internet explorer just stops
responding. It doesnt matter where I go or what I do, it just stops. I could

I am running XP home and I.E. with SP2
I have deleted all temp internet files including offline content. I have the
setting to check for new pages at every visit. Yet I keep showing an old
cached page on occasion when I visit certain pages. If I flush everything

I am trying to log into a website and I keep getting an internet explorer
message that says "your cookies have expired, please login again"... no
matter how many times I try, I cannot log in.  I have tried everything I can
think of... any ideas???

And every System with XP/W2K i've seen IE6 on, has a IE5 icon in the taskbar
for open pages...

I just put in a new copy of XP home upgrade with SP2.. After downloading the
updates from Micorsoft update I get random errors that IE 6 will shutdown and
an error reprot is to be sent to Microsoft.  Affected file is msls31.dll.  
Any ideas?
