For some reason IE stopped opening a new window and keeps resusing the same window when I open a new shortcut. I verified that the 'reuse window' box in Internet options was not checked. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I am having a problem accessing some pages on different web sites. When I click on the link to go to another page, on occasions nothing happens, but at the bottom of the ie6 screen I get the message "error on page". It does not happen every time and other pages on the same site ...

I'm running IE6 on XP Home. I have an ADSL router so I am accessing the internet via the LAN. IE6 works fine while in the PC is in safe mode so I presume all of the network settings are fine but it does not work in normal mode. I only get

When I go to link http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 I get the error message on this page: "Your Web browser does not appear to have JavaScript enabled. Enable JavaScript for more advanced search features".
