My computer is only 4 mos old and I have continually had a problem with IE6
crashing.  It shows it's still running but I can't close it out unless I use
Control/Alt/Delete.  Then i get a message that it's either spyware, IE
add-ons, or a virus causing the problem OR a message ...

My computer has been running very slowly.  I have tried several things to try
to speed it up, including virus scan and spyware removal.  I opened the task
manager and noticed that iexplorer is using 95-97% of my CPU, when IE is not
even running.  I also noticed I have at least 2 ...

My husband and I are networked on our computers, I am the main one.  
Yesterday I sent him a file using windows explorer and since then he has been
unable to access Internet Explorer (his browser is MSN).  A box states: Run

I'm having the same problem; I have just white backgrounds, very large
buttons with large text in them & huge page fonts too.
I'm using XP home, IE 6.02

Do ya know what the following error means?  The instruction at "0x74cfc862"
referenced memory at "0x00000004".  The momory could not be "read". This
error message occurred when I browse the websites.... Should ya have any

Everytime I enter a URL my browser is hijacked by an unwanted search engine
page. I already used Shwreder, Adware and  Microsoft's AnitSpyware and it
won't go away. Need help please!

Having recently had some Windows and Office auto-downloads load on my
computer I now find that I can fill-in boxes on Internet pages.  I can't run
a repair for IE from my Windows disk as it tells me that I have a newer
version on my Hard disk.  How do I get around this problem?

If I don't type HTTP://www. it won't go anywhere.  I've trie to reinstall IE
in hopes that would fix it,I've ran virus check spybot, rebooted, looked
through the options.  I'm thinking it's the registry key somewhere that got
corrupted, but don't know where to look.  Running XP ...

Changing security settings won't hold.  Can't find anything written about
this one.  Close but no cigar.

Thank youfor the reply, but all of this is already done, nothing helped. IE.5
is NOT copyable.Even I changed the user to the default user with all data and
still it does not work. Indefault user is as subdirctory the IE.5. What can
be done now??? Thanks
