I am assisting a customer using IE 6 SP1 on a Windows 2000 OS. Whenever a
link to an HTTPS sites is clicked the browser hangs and freezes. If I type
the link location in the address bar it loads just fine. It seems to be
trying to spawn another window to launch the site but hangs ...

I am interested in seeing keyboard shortcuts / hotkeys for all
functionalities of tabbed browsing in current and future versions of IE.  So
far, tabbed browsing is available for IE6 with the MSN Toolbar/Desktop Search

After having downloaded the cumulative patch q321232 from the web page

I tried to apply it on my system Win2000+SP4 + IE 6.0.2800.1106
but the patch pops up a windows saying

Hi to all who can help me,
I am really needing some help with my IE not erasing websites I have
visited that are almost a year old. The funny thing is the links are ones I
have not visited through IE. I think most of them I visited through AOL and

Windows 98SE on here.  I even looked on the download history and it says the
1KB update is completed.  Then I looked in my download mgr. and can see that
it was downloaded more than once. Ea. download of course was a "restart"
afterwards.

I'm not sure if this is where to ask, but here we go.  At my company, the
managers access a reporting system over the internet.  They can all access
the system fine, except one manager.  They continuously get this error when
they try to view their reports.

I just switched from 2000 to XP home, and immediately noticed an issue
with the mouse.  I have an optical wheel mouse, and under 2000 when I
had multiple IE windows open, it would scroll whichever window was
under the mouse pointer.  With XP, I have to click in the window to
