This one has me baffled. Just recently I have been unable to access any Microsoft website prefixed with www.microsoft.com. I can access all other websites on the entire planet fine, even Microsoft websites such as support .microsoft.com, go.microsoft.com, etc... I use IE 6.

I have Windows XP Pro Eng with SP2 and all patches installed, Internet explorer 6. I cannot open the internet options in IE6. Manage Add-ons too are not accessable. The internet options in the control panel will also not open.

Internet Explorer keeps hanging. I'm not sure that there's anything specific that I'm doing that causes it, it just frequently stops responding. Task Manager tells me that it's not responding and I have to end the task (which can be a pain).

My dads PC (Windows XP), which my neice and nephew use, always displays the SSL Security Alert dialog when viewing secure (https) sites. This happens with hotmail and gmail, which work fine on my PC. I am guessing the kids have done something to make it happen.

I've installed the beta version of IE 7.0 and have run into an issue (I guess that is the deal with beta's though). The information bar pops up on every page and says "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled". I spent about 5 hours trying to solve the issue.

does anybody have any ideas as to why my internet explorer keeps crashing? it seems to happen at random times, indeed while i was on this very site no less! i also have intstalled BTYahoo! browser and that does the same thing, crashing at random intervals.
