I don't know what happen to my browser - when I click Maximize button the Windows would
NOT occupy the whole screen area - it leave about half an inch on top. Yes, it worked
beautifully in Minimize Windows and this only affect my own desktop name.

Hi, I've exhausted all my knowledge and spent days in front of my computer
but I just can't fix this problem. Just underneath the address bar is another
toolbar that has the tabs:
-Microsoft

When ever Favorites is clicked (from the menu) IE locks up, shuts down and
restarts.  Try's to send error message to Microsoft.

Under administrator, I can open a report within IE that is of pdf format
without any issues.
As another user I get prompted with a File Download box when I click the
same report.  The file Download box wants me to "Save this file to disk"

I installed firefox browser.  It changed all html files on C: drive with IE6
icons to firefox icons.
Now I am stuck with firefox.  If I uninstall firefox and double click on
html icon, it can't open.

I am using XP home will all updates IE6.
This morning when I went to my favorites all the special little icons that
some websites use in place of the standard windows webpage with the e
superimposed over the page were gone and in their place was the standard

From time to time some of my bookmarks suddenly change order.
One bookmark suddenly is at the bottom of the list.
There is TERRIBLY ANNOYING. Anyone know why this happends?
Is there a way to prevent it?  Or a way to backup the order?

I have tried emptying the cache, deleting temp files, defrag, etc. running
winxp home/IE6. Any ideas?

I have 2MB broadband  yet i am waiting ages for any pages to load!!!
is there a simple reason for this or is it something to do with ISP??

My PC still runs Win98SE. Since I ran a Belkin router setup disk I can't use

I have problem with IE6 SP2 that drives me crazy.
When loading pages with several images, the page is rendered with texts and
flash contents, but GIF/JPEG images doesn't become visible/loaded for about
a minute after the text and the flash contents is visible.

I recently installed microsoft anti spyware. i dont know if its beacause of
it or not but my ie does not open when i click on its icon on my desktop or
in start>programs>ie or my quick launch. its not opening either when i go to
program files>ie> and try running it.
