HAVE WINDOWS XP SP2 WITH INTERNET EXPLORER AND SYMATEC ANTIVIRUS. WHEN YOU ENTER AN ADDRESS LIKE GOOGLE, PAGE LOADS, BUT YOU CAN'T TYPE ANYTHING IN THE GOOGLE SEARCH BOX. THIS APPLIES TO ANY SITE THAT REQUIRES TEXT ENTRY. YOU CAN MOUSE CLICK ON PAGE BUT DO NO TEXT ENTRY.

Is there any way for me to assign where I want history kept (and searched for) in IE6? I'd also like to do the same for my favorites. I would like to put both paths into my briefcase for my laptop, so that I can just synch up and have the same environment on desktop and laptop, ...
