I need help with  de-associate *.TIF from its default image document file type
and re-associate it with another file type in internet explorer environment.
I did it successfully from the
Contral panel --> folder options --> file type and the correct application

Is there a way to keep some cookies but delete others? I know you can do it
cookie by cookie  but I was hoping there was some procedure like the pop up
blockers "trusted sites". It would make my life easier.

How can I get Name and Url of Favorites?
I need to save these in sql database. When I use Javascript
'window.external.AddFavorite(url, name)' a popup window lets you save the
link to your favorites. I didn't figure out, how I can pickup url and name

Following the most recent update of Windows XP, the windows update page is
now the home page when i first start up iexplorer 6.0.  Subsequent starts of
iexplorer go to my default start page.
I would like to stop this behavior and go back to the old system I had where

I went to a site and received a message that my browser wasn't set to
view the page.  Something about not allowing Java.  What is Java and
what does it do,can it be downloaded?  Is it safe to use with all the
security problems.

During wireless connection, IE 6 will not open any pages at all.  The
wireless signal strenght is excellent, but pages will not display.  Can
anyone assist me in getting my wireless IE to work.  Dail-up connection works

This happens routinely and forces me to shut down the system manually as
nothing responds. I have checked my system for spyware and it comes up clean.
My antivirus and firewall are both from McAfee and are up to date.
This started happening about a month ago and did not correspond ...

Wierd problem... IE starts slow, very slow, usually errors out "Can not
find server". Then press refresh and the page appears immediately. same
with links.

The subject lines says it all. Until a few days ago, I could right-click in
a frame or IFrame and see an option to open this page in a new window. The
option has disappeared from my right-click menu. Anyone know how I can get
it back?

Recently when visiting certain websites, I get a IE error popup that has
nothing but a "1" as the error message..all you do is hit ok and the message
goes away. has anyone seen this before? researched all over google...no luck

Not sure what setting changed but when I go to a site and then click on a
link in the site I lose the primary site to the linked one that opens and no
back button is available causing me to re-start the internet to get back to
the original site....................BTW it doesn't ...
