Runtime Error - Can't log into the internet w/IE618 Sep 2005 15:03 GMT4
When I try to log into internet I keep receiving an error. I use IE6.  After
double clicking on IE I get the following error msg:

Msg:

Now when i do a search.. say for "ball pythons" and the results come up...if
there is ball pythons in the results it will be highlight different colors
for each word.....if that aint bad enough when i click on the link for the
website and the site comes up then everytime the word ...

well anyway, heres the 'problem':

My wifes compter runs on xp home, IE6 and she is unable to view the maps and
satellite veiws in google maps.  All she gets the RED X box.  At one time,
approx. 3 weeks ago this worked fine.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have been unable to reach most official sites of the State of Idaho such as
the DMV or the tax site, and most others. I can reach the portal page at
http://www.state.id.us/ .

I m using WinXP Service Pack 2 and IE6.0.2900.2180. My buddy runs the same
system as mine. We both are co-located in the same office. We both use
Personal Firewall (come with XP service pack 2).

I recently updated my Yahoo Messenger - it was a custom install, just
the Messenger app and nothing else - and even when Messenger is not
running, I've noticed that if I go to a Yahoo page and then

I had a program hang that forced me to have to restart the OS.  Upon
restarting, I have several things missing forom my computer:  Outlook Express

I have just logged on to this site and hope I can find a solution to a
recurring problem I'm having.  I have XP Professional service pack 2 on my
computer and when I open up a file in my Documents section am getting the

When I boot up and go to IE6 it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
1.  The 1st web page appears but when I want to go to a 2nd I get the can't
display page.
2.  I dont' get any web page, just the can't display page error

Everytime I close IE 6 SP1 I get a popup window saying IE has encountered a
problem and will close. It also has a button to send report to M$. Does
anyone know of this problem and how to fix it. This is a brand new install on
a new computer.

I have a website that changes gif's when the user clicks things.  I have
preloaded the gif's so that it is responsive.  But over the last few days,

When I exit IExplorer, the process doesn't end. I have to manually end the
process. Anyone know why?
