I am trying to open an attached WPD document and when I click on the
attachment, I am prompted to open or save. I click open and nothing
happens. I click save and it saves the document.
when I click on the saved doc it opens fine.

I am unable to open a new IE window by clicking on a link within a page.  I
think it has to do with a pop-up blocker but I disabled both the IE and MSN
pop-up blockers.  I can't find another blocker on my computer.

When  a user at the office opens IE he gets a request for password, even
though there is no proxy on the network and I have checked the user account
and he has the proper rights, and check interent explorer settings on other
machines and is exactly the same.

Recently I have a problem when trying to download any file type. I no
longer get a file download window, but instead I get a blank screen with a
small icon in the top left corner.
If I right click the download link and select 'save target as' all is well!

When I connect to the Symantec website and click on some of the links--for
example, to the Online Store--I get Page unavailable messages. My ISP gave
me a proxy to use. Using the proxy, I can now surf the Symantec site with no
problems--but the Windows Update site no longer works. ...

When I entered a password with a username on a web form, IE asked me if I
wanted to save it, and I clicked no. Now I want to be able to save that same
password, but IE never asks me again. How can I get that password to be
saved without clearing all my other saved passwords?
