I have a stange problem. I can connect to the internet under safe mode w/networking, but not in normal mode. It just comes up with page cannot be displayed. It starts out trying to detect proxy settings, but there is no proxy server.

I have written an HTML page that is emailed to end-users. The HTML page has a table in it with a row that conains a hyperlink. The hyperlink is pointed at a file on their server. The HTML file worked for me and others until recently.

I'm running XP Pro w SP2. Using AOL broadband thru Roadrunner. When I run IE some sites can't be accessed i.e. microsoft, continetal airlines. I can't activate XP nor can I run updates. However other sites run fine, my yahoo, sports illustrated, etc.

Hey---I can't be the only one? Somewhere my internet explorer got corrupted,deleted or who know what. Its limping along with error error errors. I downloaded Firefox and all web-surfing works wonderful.

I am unable to repair IE, I get the error message: "Internet Explorer 6 cannot be repaired due to the following errors: version 3.08168.0 of file ATL.DLL exists but the version needs to be greater than 3.0.8449.0" Any advice about how I rectify this greatly appreciated.
