I get an Interface not registered error on line 228/ code 0 in my windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix. I have uninstalled IE6 and reinstalled. I have downloaded all updates that I could find.

After a stupid error by me I cannot get IE to keep the "never dial a connection" option. This is what happened. I ran a scan of the registry using REGSEEK and deleted a load of keys it

When try to run IE, it home page is set to yahoo.com, instead of showing the IE itself, the download window pops up and asking either to save or open yahoo page. If select open, the download window closes but IE not started. If select the save option, it will save the page onto ...

Don't know what I or IE6 has done but some pages show areas that should have something in them but instead they have the following message: "ACTION CANCELED Internet Explorer was unable to link to the web page you" Thanks,

Hi, Have tried, but can't, zoom in IE. Is it possible in any way? I know I can change font view to make it larger, but I sometimes want to enlarge pictures , and can't. Thanks

Is it possible to disable the Open file download feature whenever someone tries to open a program directly from a site. I would like only to be able to Save the downloaded program and not be able to run tha application directly from the site itself.

why does IE not reload applets? this is absurd.. I compile an applet and have to load it about 10 times before IE will reload it.. (and that after closing all open IE windows and clearing out cache a number of times..) why does IE have such a problem w/this????????

I am a member of the ABWANH.com; I have been going there regularly for the past several months. Yesterday, I was unable to connect (cable). None of the 3 computers in our home were able to connect. My husband dialed into AOL and was able to connect.

i think it would be cool to allow full skinning of the browser on a web page. and i mean even the borders (the entire window) to be skinnable. this way the web broswer could look more like an application running from a remote website.

Hi, I'm trying to view story at www.heraldsun.com.au. I can get to the main page but if I click on the first link it takes me to a blank page with a status of "done". I have installed Flash but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
