I am currently running ie5.5 and wanted to upgrade to 6. I have the ie6setup
install file downloaded and have tried to install. It goes about 3/4 the way
through and quits. Message: was unable to complete installation. some items
where not installed!

I have link in my file which points to a file with the extension .bin
I am looking for a piece of code which will enable me to force a
download dialog box for the file type with extension .bin.
The size of the .bin file is 75 MB

Does somebody knows if Microsoft has maybe released the toolbar code? Or does
sombody know if there is a .Net implementation of such a plugin?

I apparently hosed up the ie program by installing and removing foxfire. I
have tried all the suggested fixes (well most of them) and I tried restoring
win xp to a prev restore point. IE 6 is now my default browser ...

I use Win2k+SP4, IE6+SP1
When I open IE6, always forst popup page is blank. Also, with certain
specific pages, I get a warning of "Erro on page", where the error appears
in line 1, Char:17, Error: 'opener.top', Code:0.

2 days ago i started having problems with the links on emails and in web
pages using internet explorer, so i enter here and reregister all the files
they recommend but when i tried to do the shell32.dll it says that it can be
damaged or corrupted, i extract this file from the w98 ...

I  cannot  access  to  secure  pages  such as  hotmail  ,  google , bank
pages.  I  can't  upload  files  by  ftp. What to do ?
