My boss contracted a couple of viruses and now his favorites list will not show in IE. He is running XP Pro. The list of sites is in his favorites folder, it just won't show up in IE. However, they do show up in Outlook. Any ideas?

Whenever I try to open certain web pages, my browser (whether it's IE, Firefox, Opera) simply closes automatically without warning. I've disabled my firewalls (Norton and XP SP2) and STILL I get the same problem!
