Hi, I already posted before and I tried using Ad-aware SE personnal along
with Spybot and I still haven't been able to detect the spyware or "virus" in
internet explorer.
When I click on a link, sometimes it gets directed to a site like

I've fought with this problem before in IE and "solved" it by setting
various block elements to have 100% width, but now that won't work for me
and I'm just curious in general as to what the heck IE is doing here.

i use a toolbar from my taskbar to access my desktop. i was wondering
if anyone knew of a way to prevent the IE icon from showing up in it?
i've already removed it from my desktop (i.e. - when 'show desktop
icons' is enabled), but i can enver seem to get rid of it in my toolbar

After I click Internet Explorer for it to open, it will "load" (and a
'iexplore' process is created).  However, Internet Explorer won't open.  I
have to "open" IE about 3 or 4 times for it to normally open ... then I have
3 or 4 processes.  Then again, sometimes it will open on ...

I have customized my search settings endless times, so that it uese one
search engine, which is google and displays the results.
It works for a few times and then i get some msn search thing doing the
search (from the address bar) that produces nothing.

OK - this is nuts, but my hard drive goes into action at the end  of every
web page displayed. I'm convinced this didn't happen before.
A few points:
- I have 2gb ram

mcafee virus scan turned up the following trojan:  
C:/winnt/system32/"actskin4.ocx"  generic. cb.  I cannot find any information
on this or how to remove it.  Can anyone help.  

Running IE6 with Win2KPro, SP4, all updates.
Cannot repair IE6 as it is not listed in add/remove programs. Any help in
finding it will be greatly appreciated.
