Hi, I already posted before and I tried using Ad-aware SE personnal along with Spybot and I still haven't been able to detect the spyware or "virus" in internet explorer. When I click on a link, sometimes it gets directed to a site like

i use a toolbar from my taskbar to access my desktop. i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to prevent the IE icon from showing up in it? i've already removed it from my desktop (i.e. - when 'show desktop icons' is enabled), but i can enver seem to get rid of it in my toolbar

After I click Internet Explorer for it to open, it will "load" (and a 'iexplore' process is created). However, Internet Explorer won't open. I have to "open" IE about 3 or 4 times for it to normally open ... then I have 3 or 4 processes. Then again, sometimes it will open on ...

I have customized my search settings endless times, so that it uese one search engine, which is google and displays the results. It works for a few times and then i get some msn search thing doing the search (from the address bar) that produces nothing.

mcafee virus scan turned up the following trojan: C:/winnt/system32/"actskin4.ocx" generic. cb. I cannot find any information on this or how to remove it. Can anyone help.

I've several threads on this topic. First off I have XP Pro/2 I have grisoft virus software. I posted pics on webshots.com and when I click a thumbnail it goes to a page without the picture. The toolbar says Done. I can refresh abour 15 times and it will display.
