I cannot start Internet Explorer 6.  I get a Runtime Error message for
iexplore.exe:
"The application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way."
I tried reinstalling IE6 with no luck.  Any  ideas?

I have had an error message a couple of times in the past few days regarding
a Stack Overflow in Line 2 from Internet Explorer while online.  There's no
other prompting except "OK".
What causes this & is there anything I can do regarding this error message.

On a different computer from this one, when trying to connect to the internet
with AT&T, we  got the message "Page cannot be displayed". Since the dial-up
is on the same line as my phone I could tell it actually was connected(crazy

After installing this update, I was unable to view Flash content or run
ActiveX. Even the Windows Update page would not work. I've seen numerous
posts here and on other newsgroups mentioning that KB896688 was the culprit.
After removing this update, my problem was solved.
