Popups are not working on my HP NX9010 Notebook - ad running Windows XP Pro
with SP2 andthe latest patches.
I have enabled popups under the privacy tab of the IE options and verified
that they are ebabled in eth registry.

When I try to use Tools - Windows update I get this:-

Quiet often I can be accessing perfectly ordinary  websites and I get a
dialog box come up saying there is a script error, do I wish to debug.  
Firstly I don't understand why I'm getting this error and secondly don't know
what to do about it.  Can anyone advise?

For all web search engines that I visit everytime I start to type a new
search all my previous searches appear in the box -- I have cleared the IE
history, deleted files, etc, but they will appear.  Any advice on how to get

I recently lost one of my memory cards in my PC. I now only have 256MB RAM.

I just set up a new PC with XP sp2, all the latest updates from

When I go to a web page with applets on it, the applets don't load, and

Here is the scenerio...
IE loads very slowly...once it does load, I can not open links..This is
happening on the linksys site.
