This is an ongoing issue with a machine I own. I can't get the machine to open a java applet with the extention .jsp. I have another machine that it works fine on, and their both running very similar IE settings, OS, and Java platforms.

Hello, I am running Win 98SE, IE6 with SP1, I downloaded update Q831167, but when I wanted to install it, I got an error message that "this update requires SP1 to be installed". I am confused....IE6SP1 has been installed but the update Q831167 does not seem to recognize it. ...

This is driving me crazy and I can't figure out what is causing it. Very often, when I go to a page that has a form with a field named "address" (like almost any order form), IE pre-fills it with <unused>. This is very annoying. It's easy enough to overwrite it on a blank

For a single URL that I must access for work, IE finds and loads the page, then immediately closes. It didn't always do this. I have no trouble with my other computers, only one of them running IE 6.0.2900.2180 SP2. Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

I have noticed that when I close a browser window, that the process is not exiting. This causes another iexplore.exe process to be launched each time I open a browser, and will eventually cause memory errors. If I open and close my browser 10 times, I will have 10 processes ...
