Win XP Pro - SP2 I can not maximize my IE windows. They fall short about 1/4" from the top of my screen when maximized. Any other kind of application window works correctly.

Every now and then I get a DNS entry wrong - ocm instead com, for example - and IE seems to process it, but hangs for several minutes. I know it's not merely an IE issue as this also happens with Firefox and other applications. The only error message that comes back is the one

When I'm on the internet I am receiving this message. I can only proceed when I restart my computer... "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact program vendor.

I want all pop-up windows to display on my browser, but even I disabled all the Pop-up Blocker settings, but still pop-ups are blocked. Please your help before i'll give-up.

I have just updated to WinXP Pro SP2 with IE6. everytime I click a link in either my email or in the existing browser a new window opens. That's fine, but it always opens as a small window (1/4 the screen size)

Acer laptop, XP-SP2, when double-clicking on IE it is extremely slow to open. Even the homepage after it has been cached. Once it opens it operates at normal speed and browsing is fine. Close it and double-click IE again to open and it is extremely slow again on startup.

Just purchased a Packard Bell. The toolbar color is purple with a Packard Bell logo, which is very difficult to see. Any idea how to change this? Thanks

Current Problem: IE currently suffers from the following problems: 1) Whenever I open up the find window ( CTRL +F) to search the webpage for a word or phrase. It opens and very quickly closes within a second.
