hey guys i have an old gmail account that i have forgotten the password for, BUT it is saved in my 'saved passwords' list ie.. when i type my user name it IE auto fills in the password field for me.

When I click on a linked document on a web page, it launches the actual application and then opens the file within the application. How do I change my settings so that it just opens the document within Internet Explorer and not in the application?

IE 6.0 comes up in two different views - an XP-type view and the old classic view - since an automatic Windows update Aug. 19. In the XP- type view, there is no address bar to type URL into and no Tools button to allow me to empty the IE cache after banking online.
