I have a habit of opening lots of IE windows when I'm surfing the net (sometimes as many as 20-30). I've lately noticed that when I click on a link that is supposed to open a new window, the page will open in one of the existing, older windows already open.

I work for a software company that has an application, Analytica, that uses the *.ana file association. After clicking a link and downloading one of our model files, and clicking 'open', TWO instances Analytica are launched with the downloaded file loaded.
