We have some folks that cannot, for whatever reason, upgrade their IE
browsers. They run a combination of browsers prior to IE6SP2 on Windows XP.
They get Javascript errors, IE6SP2 and above do not. However, to complicate
things, IE6SP1 on Win2K also does not (but IE6SP1 on WinXP ...

I have installed IE 7. It works well.
To confirm old passwords I used a freeware program called Nucleus
Kernel Internet Explorer Password Recovery (NKIEPR). I was surprised
when it showed me some passwords which were several years old.

Documents are available on our department's web site for viewing as .pdf
files. Many have large appended maps that are stored in separate .pdf files

When opening Explorer it shows the message “If you are seeing this page
instead of the site you expected, please contact the administrator of the
site involved” and the legend “It Worked!” in the place where the name of the

How do I get unwanted folders to stop appearing on my Favorites list?  
Everytime I reboot - I get the following:

When I go of line and try to compact All Folders, then  on the Inbox and
Deleted Items the compacting stops and I get a message "Another program is
using this folder".  Then the compacting stops on these two folders.  Anyone
have any idea what is causing this?

I installed 7...too slow...uninstalled. Went back to IE 6. Now I'm having
connection/stability issues at my game websites. I keep getting disconnected
and being asked to send reports to Microsoft. Anyone else having these

I have Win XP SP2. All a sudden the IE cannot open any website, while my
connection is OK (can receive gmail thru outlook express and can update virus

recently downloaded an active x control and now my ie browser randomly shuts
down on its own.  i read that this can happen. how can this problem be fixed?

My online college class sites are incompatible with IE 7, so I need to
uninstall it and re-install IE 6.  Can anyone give me instructions, as I am
unable to find an unistall program for it.  Thanks.
