Switching OE6 identities freezes computer at desktop during transi14 Nov 2006 02:46 GMT1
I have three email identities (IDs) on my OE6.  
When I switch IDs in OE6 it sometimes smoothly slides out of one ID, back to
the desktop, and then automatically opens the newly requested ID in OE6.
Unfortunately more often than not it closes OE6 and returns me to the

Is anyone having a problem with IE7 maing out the CPU? I am running XP Pro
SP2 w/1 GB RAM. Every time I open IE7, the CPU goes to 100% and stays. When I
removed IE7 and went back to IE6, the CPU runs around 4-6% with occasional
spikes.

I have been installing IE 7 on our corporate workstations.  On the ones with
IE 7 installed sometimes Outlook 2003 either won't print the header
information (From - To - Time) or prints the email in 2 point font.  This
only happens with IE 7 installed.

I can play Quicktime movie files (.mov) but if I click pause or click the
slider to advance or rewind, IE freezes and "not responding" occurs when I
end the task.

At work I have certain machines that have no File menu on the IE window, this
is also spreading from machine to machine rather quickly. Any idea on what is

I've been having a bit of a problem at school, namely, my work is
boring and I've taken to surfing a web forum instead of actual work.
It's at the point where I have a great deal of difficulty stopping
myself from doing this- some mix of habit and addiction.  (Sad, I know,

Essentially the request is blocked with no indication of what the problem is.
The Internet Explorer event log does not contain any log entries either.

I've had Broadband for quite a while. All of a sudden a window saying
"Dial Up Connection" keeps popping up. I've checked the box that says
"Never Dial A Connection" but it still keeps happening periodically.
I've run Ad-Aware, Spybot & Spysweeper as well as my Norton AV.

I have a problem with my IE 6 SP1 on Window 2k Pro. When I use 'Windows
Update' on 'Tools' menu list, the IE is hang.
