On my Dell PC, Internet Explorer does not show it my list of installed
programs. Is this normal? How do I fix it so Internet Explorer is on my
installed programs list?

IE6 Information Bar annoyance
I have a local html homepage on my C drive at:
C:\Eugene\home.htm or file:///C:/Eugene/home.htm
IE6 understands either of these address formats fine, and displays the local homepage like it would a website page on the internet.

anyone know where and how to turn it off ?
I think I added a web-site onto my Favourites drop-down, (and was warned
that it will automatically synchronise), but, now I can't find it !

I'm trying to help out a friend.
Up until a few days ago he had no trouble viewing web pages.
But for no apparent reason IE6 now always shows "The page cannot be
displayed" notices.

I have had repeated errors with IE 6 using the ME platform. I have tried to
update the listed problems by updating .dll files as instructed. I have tied
to reinstall 6 but it won't work and says problems occureed. Now the error
lists MSDXM.OCX.

I had downloaded IE 7 but had problems with my scanner so I uninstalled
it(I think). Now, when trying to use a previously functional website, I
get a dialog box re: copying script from clipboard. I have to use
cntrl,alt,delete to exit and tried changing settings..with no luck. ...

I want IE to open maximized but want my short cuts to email in Quick Launch
Toolbar to open in the sizes that I set or minimized size.
