Group, I installed ie7 and my favorites tab is showing ALL of my favorites. My old browser hid the unused sites and folders, but I remember I had to set it to do so. Is this feature not available in ie7?

In IE7, under LAN connections, since yesterday the Automatic Configuration Script is always checked with a proxy address: http://localhost:9100/proxy.pac . The IE7 runs very slowly unless I uncheck everything, but it won't stay unchecked. I have no proxies that I know of,

What can be the reason that sometimes a picture is not shown by IE 6, SP1? I see only the placeholders and a red cross in the upper left corner. Clicking on 'show picture' doesn't help and clicking on 'properties' does not reveal the file
