Yesterday after a virus attack on my computer, my Internet explorer homepage has changed. I used McAfee to scan and delete the viruses " yahlov.worm and wwwcool**" . After this I reset my IE to defaults and the homepage is "www.msn.com".

I just upgraded to IE7 and notice that the "Search Pane" is gone. Are there any add-ons that will make a search pane work on the left side just like IE6? Is there an option in IE7 to enable this feature? Without the search pane, IE7 is useless.

http connection has suddenly stopped working in IE 6.0 . ftp and https work, and http works in Netscape 7.0, which I am having to use to post this. I get automatic updates, so I may have got a "fix" to IE today that broke http. Anyone else had this problem?
