Is there a way that I can stop ie from blocking the download of a specific file type. I frequently download a specific file type and I have to click on the toolbar to allow it's download each time.

On some sites I get the message "you need IE5 or higher to view this site." I have 6.0.2 but it isn't being recognized. What can I do?

When clicking on webpages or scrolling through them w/ a MS wheel mouse, the IE Help function keeps engaging and the Help screen pops up. Often. Very annoying. Any ideas?

I stupidly upgraded to IE7 and I hated it. It was slow and confusing. Also, I was unable to check my work e-mail from home with IE7. I did not know how to go back to IE6, so I did a system restore to about a week before the IE7 download. I have IE6 back, but something is wrong ...

My favorites did not migrate. All the links etc are in My Documents... How do I get them? I also run Firefox and their migration tool doesn't work either. the favorites Menu does not activate at all. How do I stop PopUps completely?

A couple of days ago IE stopped running the ActiveX versions of Yahoo Mail and GMail. Yahoo tells me to enable 'Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting' but it is enabled! GMail tells me to do the same. The Yahoo error message also says 'xmldom:failure -2146827859 ...

I, in my infinite wisdom, chose the "close all tabs" option and the "don't ask me this again" when I click on the close screen tab (red X). Can I reverse this or am I stuck? Thanks
