I cannot download any files in IE6. Unlike most of the other users here who get an error message of some sort when the download fails or hangs, my computer appears to be downloading the file. I then quickly see a shortcut appear on my desktop for the file that just got downloaded,

Trying to open www.stencil-maker.com - a known and trusted site. My wife (still on IE6) can open it, but I cannot - even with Phishing filters disabled - ie restart and even system re-boot. Suggestions appreciated.

In IE 6 (XP) I have lost the horzontal menu bar. The contents of the menu bar (File, Edit, View,etc) appear in a drop down list next to links drop down. Under View it shows the toolbars, but there is no listing for Menu bar to check. How do I get the horizontal menu bar back?
